The Declaration of Peace

The Declaration of Peace campaign culminated in civil resistance at the White House and a breathtaking CODEPINK banner drop (or drops!) inside the Hart Senate Building. As the pink banners dropped, we sang "War is Over if You Want It" and our voices echoed through the marble building. It was exciting to see the "Give Peace a Vote" banner that my mom and I painted together dropped over the railing of the Senate building.
